Bling-enabled businesses and financial institutions can create customized loyalty programs that award points or discounts. Each can tailor their own program, so awards will vary.
- Earn double rewards: you can earn rewards from financial institutions and from Bling businesses. Rewards can be in the form of points or automatic discounts.
- Awards tracked automatically: you receive text messages that inform you of your points balance or discounts earned.
- Easy redemption: redeem awards at local businesses. When you have earned sufficient points or discounts, the blinger automatically prompts you to pay with points instead of cash from your account. Just tap your BlingTag on the Blinger to redeem in-store. You never have to worry about carrying coupons or membership cards to claim awards.
Point Plans
Some financial institutions award points for the amount you spend. For example, for every $1 spent you might receive 10 points. Your point balance is displayed in the confirmation message after every transaction.
Discount Plans
Some businesses offer discount-based plans that enable you to receive a discount for value spent. For example, you might receive 10 percent off of a purchase once you have made 10 purchases or spent over $40. When you have achieved your discount, Bling automatically sends you a text message and redeems your award at the point of sale with your next purchase.
Community Contribution Plans
Some financial institutions also offer loyalty plans that benefit a local charity or community organization, based on usage.
